All began in the summer of 2004 when Simon Charette, Sébastien Audet, Christian Poulin and Charles Fontaine decided to start a death metal band called Wrecked Mind. At the end of 2004 the band had a change of heart because 3 of it's members (Christian Poulin, Sébastien Audet and Simon Charette) left to revive another band named Descend into nothingness. Finally D.I.N gave up for personal reasons in the year of 2005. Afterwards Francis Beaulieu, Simon Charette, Christian Poulin and Sébastien Audet gave birth to the project who now wears the name of Archons. The band has also recorded 2 promo songs in 2006 (Delusional Beliefs, Plague of Corruption) with Pascal Letendre. Two years later after quite a while in studio their first full length "The Consequences of Silence" got released and the many awaiting fans were just amazed by the quality of its productions and songs.
