Cryogenic Records started back in 2005 when Sébastien Audet, who was already very implicated in the extreme metal scene in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, decided to go ahead and improve another face of the scene in the region : build a label.

The label, at first, was created to help local bands to produce a CD and be able to be distributed worldwide. In 2006, this whole idea changed and the label became available for all extreme metal bands, from our region or not, that are looking for a more friendly, easy-going yet professionnal label to deal with.

Geneviève Dumont officially joined Cryogenic Records in may 2006 and is in charge of the publicity for the label. She also created all the CD covers and layouts for our bands so far.

A new deal with Galy Records, as of 2006, allows Cryogenic Records to be distributed by Galy Records (www.galyrecords.com), CM Distro (www.cmdistro.com) and F.A.B. Distribution giving the chance to its band to be distributed all over the world.
